Cracks me up every time somebody asks me this question.
I am absolutely not running as an independent– I am running as Eric J. Troutman.
That’s what you’re voting for. A man– and a brilliant and talented man– not a party.
I am Eric J. Troutman. You can call me lots of things– hopefully NICE things– but please don’t call me independent.
Indeed, the word is actually quite inaccurate. Because I will be VERY dependent– on YOU, the people of District 47 to tell me what to do! The PEOPLE will power me and I will NEVER be independent of them!
Probably the worst part is people call me an independent just to signify I am not a Republican or a Democrat. But that’s absurd. First of all– NONE OF YOU are really Republicans or Democrats anymore. So we’re all “independent.”
But the entire concept of defining a person as “independent” when they don’t belong to a party exalts parties as the norm, and non-party members as some sort of exception. That’s silly.
Parties don’t exist under the constitution. They aren’t real. And they aren’t something ANYONE should take seriously. They just produce puppet candidates NOBODY should vote for.
Indeed they are the source of pretty much ALL of the nation’s problems right now.
But we’re going to fix it.
Back Troutman. Donate to the campaign right now to help him win FOR YOU!

The Czar is working hard for America. Back him up!
And remember– America Deserves to Win!
