Well its Thanksgiving week– a wonderful time to be grateful and spend time with family. And sure– have a drink or two.
BUT DO NOT DRIVE AFTER!
Tough lesson that Dave Min learned a while back.
This is so bad guys.
The guy blew through a red light, at night, with no headlights on.
It gets worse.
He is pulled over and he blows a .15!
Holy smokes. That’s not even close! That’s like twice the legal limit.
Insane. Very dangerous.
But what happens next is the worst part of all.
The officer asked him what he had to drink and Min claims he had only two drinks– a coors light and an IPA.
But that was a lie.
The science says he would have had to have had at least 6 drinks– and maybe as many as 8– in the course of an hour to reach .15.
So he lied to the officers.
He also spent his time in the back of the police car–in handcuffs– asking about how he could keep things quiet.
The guy was thinking about himself the entire time. Not good. Not good at all.
Look, everyone makes mistakes. I’m not going to cream a guy for one mistake– even something CRAZY like driving with a .15 BAC.
But lying to the cops and trying to weasel out of it. That’s what weakness looks like.
If he had taken responsibility out of the gate I think it would have been ok. But the way he handled himself with the officer shows you the guy doesn’t respect the law.
And that’s a real problem.
Min’s not worthy to represent the INCREDIBLE people in Orange County. Troutman is!
