Living in Orange County you’re always in the shadow of the Troutman Amin, LLP lion– but perhaps even more so in the shadow of Disney.
This is the house of the mouse.
I think about Walt from time to time. Never knew him, obviously, but I feel a certain connection to him because above anything else he was a dreamer as much as a doer.
When he built “Disneyland” in the middle of a bunch of Orange Groves what a bizarre thing that must have been.
Can you imagine this?
It would be like me going out to the Tejon Ranch and building “Troutmanland” with exhibits dedicated to free speech and constitutional issues. Crazy right?
Actually it’s even wilder than that. Because that’s been done.
When Walt did it this was something that had never been done before. A concept that seemed so foreign and strange as to border on insane.
“Crazy Walt building his crazy park.”
But it was absolutely brilliant. So much to the point that now it seems almost obvious. Now we think of Disneyland and assume it obviously works but at the time it seemed obvious it would NOT work.
Nobody thought building Disneyland was a good idea. He couldn’t get financing for it. He had to sell his house and cash out insurance products to get it done because who would invest in such a crazy scheme?
But Walt understood his crazy dream was actually an obvious next step in storytelling. Immerse people in the world of his creation– give them a physical TASTE of the magic that was otherwise only available on screen.
And when you think about it all he was trying to do was bring to life the stories he told in animations into a live physical format. He added a few themes– creating the first modern “theme” park in doing so– and he had done something so simple and marvelous it has become a part of American DNA.
Create an immersive environment around the magic of your own creation. He was the first to do it, and that’s a hell of an invention!
Again, this seems to OBVIOUS now but at the time it was utterly unimaginable.
Until he did it.
Deep respect for the man.
Walt would have been 124 years old today. So Happy Birthday Mr. Disney! I look forward to serving the people here in your backyard well and helping to keep a sense of that spirit of magic you created alive for generations to come.
Thank you for PROVING that crazy dreams can literally change the world– and change even what people think is crazy. Because of guys like YOU America Deserves to Win!
Should note: by providing this tribute to Walt I am NOT suggesting Disney or any of its affiliates or entities or any member of the Disney family is backing my run. I mean they probably would IMO because I’m awesome but I haven’t talked to anyone over there about it so please don’t consider this some sort of endorsement. It is not.
They’re feeling really good that they may “win” the midterms.
Let’s get a couple of things straight.
Americans do NOT want Democrats in charge anymore than they want the Republicans in charge. Both parties are awful right now– only obeying their own members and ignoring what the majority of Americans want.
But the Democrats WILL likely win the midterms– although not California’s District 47 because that’s going to Troutman, an independent.
The only reason the Democrat will win, however, is because the Republicans are screwing up so badly.
But guess what.
When the Democrats win they’ll just screw up badly as well.
And then the Republicans will take back over and guess what?
Yep, more screwing up.
The PARTIES ARE THE PROBLEM.
Again, they are only serving their own people and not THE PEOPLE. As a result NEITHER party can lead. And we will just keep seesawing.
Time to get smart folk.
Troutman is the answer.
Read about him. Love him. Join him. Let’s get back to winning!
5-year-olds detained. People murdered in DHS custody. Orders to break into people’s homes without warrants. And more.ICE is systematically violating the law with no accountability.Today, I’m voting hell no on the bill to fund ICE. Enough is enough. pic.twitter.com/PDQDHVT5ru
Just close your eyes and listen to this man’s shaky uncertain voice. He just has no power. He’s an empty shell of a man. How is this guy representing me?
Still, he is improving.
His team is carefully following everything I say obviously. They’re coaching him. And I am seeing some mild improvement.
Over 15,000 people have watched my webinar from a couple weeks ago explaining why D.C. is not a swamp!
It’s a beautiful City on a Hill that shines a light for the entire world to see.
The palace is adorned, the table is set beautifully but the guests we keep inviting out to D.C. to do our work are simply NOT WORTHY of the position.
We need to hire QUALIFIED people– NOT PUPPETS– to serve us in D.C. and we just haven’t been doing it.
Join the Troutman For America movement to assure we only get THE BEST OF THE BEST in D.C. from now on to take care of the American people and serve them well and faithfully the way the Constitution says!
Over 15,000 people have watched this video– you should too!
I wrote the other day we might want to “ban” political parties and the internet went nuts.
Thousands of reads and tons of engagement. People are really talking about this but most folks don’t understand how IMPORTANT banning the parties might actually be for all of us.
Most folks don’t know this but there were actually zero political parties when our nation was founded.
There’s a reason the constitution does not mention political parties– they were NOT supposed to be part of our system of government.
Indeed political parties– or “clubs” as they were called– were actually banned in many parts of Europe at the time and the founders feared “factions” and developed a system designed to prevent “parties” from taking hold.
Their system was genius and although political parties sprang into existence shortly after the creation of our nation they rarely were able to exercise complete control over our government thanks to our system of checks and balances.
Lately that system has been eroded and directly attacked as the two parties become more extreme and desperate for control.
The truth is both the Democrats and the Republicans are dying brands. Nobody considers themselves a D or an R anymore– they just REJECT the other side.
And it’s no surprise– NEITHER PARTY CAN LEAD!
Anytime one party takes control Americans reject them soundly and want to switch horses. Just like currently everybody wants the Republicans out because they are doing a terrible job.
But guess what if/when the Democrats take over it will be the same thing! Americans will throw them out the first chance they get also.
And on and on and on.
Let’s put an end to this folks. Back Troutman and let’s explore doing away with the parties.
