Over 15,000 people have watched my webinar from a couple weeks ago explaining why D.C. is not a swamp!
It’s a beautiful City on a Hill that shines a light for the entire world to see.
The palace is adorned, the table is set beautifully but the guests we keep inviting out to D.C. to do our work are simply NOT WORTHY of the position.
We need to hire QUALIFIED people– NOT PUPPETS– to serve us in D.C. and we just haven’t been doing it.
Join the Troutman For America movement to assure we only get THE BEST OF THE BEST in D.C. from now on to take care of the American people and serve them well and faithfully the way the Constitution says!
Over 15,000 people have watched this video– you should too!
Came from nothing. Decided at a young age I would be a world class top gun litigator travelling the country handling the highest-stakes cases.
And wouldn’t you know it. Here I am.
But it didn’t come easy. In fact, the price is almost unimaginable.
To succeed at this level takes more than hard work. More than drive. More than passion.
It takes an undying love.
A fire few can understand.
But YouTuber Mr. Beast does.
He published this video of himself from 10 years ago–a skinny kid desperate to get 1,000,000 followers on YouTube– and then reacted to it recently all grown up and wildly successful.
Probably surprising to hear that this video really touches a chord with me.
Some people have a fate. They have a calling. And they will do whatever it takes to be worthy of that fate.
Its not a choice.
Its what they were born to do.
Its what the universe requires of them.
It may sound dumb to be obsessed with YouTube–and maybe it is in some ways– but to be the greatest at something (even something seemingly trivial) is never dumb.
Elevating the human species to new heights at anything is always to be appreciated. Because the sacrifice that goes into it is tremendous. And when sacrifice connects with integrity you see something really special.
The skinny kid in this video was meant for greatness. He couldn’t have known his fate and his future but he believed. He wanted it so badly his mind could think of nothing else. He lost friends. He became socially awkward. He couldn’t cope in normal society.
But the universe had a plan for him. And his obsession would pay off. He was not going to be denied.
Even as people tuned on him, judged him, roasted him. Told him to stay quiet. That he would fail. That he would never succeed. He kept going.
Because it was to meant to be.
And look how happy he is now! He did it!
Beast continues to work hard. He continues to be grateful. He continues to be generous. He uses his vehicle for good. And he continues to grow. And he is the happiest guy in the world as a result.
I relate very deeply with this video.
I’m not some cheesy YouTuber, I am a world-class attorney. But I continue to work hard. I continue to be grateful. I continue to be generous. I use my platform for good and to effectuate positive change (like stopping robocalls and saving our nation). And I am the happiest guy in the world as a result.
I work obsessively to this day–and I am the happiest guy in the world because I am living my dream.
But I am not done.
I have another dream. And it includes all of you.
Know that inside this powerful attorney beats the heart of a young kid very much like the Beast you see in this video. But what he yearns for isn’t 1,000,000 YouTube followers– its to fix the nation. Have it be united again. To have it work the way the founders intended.
Probably sounds cheesy, but this is genuine.
That is my deep passion. I have a love for this project that is just as all-encompassing as 17 y/o Beast’s.
Today I am “just” a lawyer. A great lawyer sure but not a household name. Just a regular incredibly successful guy that handles the toughest cases in the nation.
Ok fine, there’s nothing “normal” about me. But I have no political apparatus to speak of.
I have many friends, but no great movement. Superb ideas, but no real vehicles to drive change just yet. A dedicated team, but a team built for litigation conquests, not political adventurism.
Really, I have nothing. No party supporting me. No Super PAC. I won’t even take any corporate money.
I just have you.
My loyal readers.
My beginnings are humble. But I am guided by a love and a fire that must be the future calling. What do you think? Am I going to pull it off? Will you help?
Apparently things are so “toxic” in D.C. right now that more than 50 people in Congress are quitting. They can’t get anything done and so they’re leaving.
Probably not the worse thing in the world.
These people are by and large unqualified to be there. They don’t understand what the job entails, so they aren’t getting it done.
They don’t even understand how its supposed to work. They just know it isn’t working.
They can’t fix it so they’re leaving.
Ok.
Good.
They weren’t going to last much longer anyway.
In the new world– the post-Troutman world– only QUALIFIED and CAPABLE leaders who understand the job requirements and can meet them will be in Congress. The folks headed for the exit probably know its coming.
But actually they’re just sick of partisan politics like we all are. They must obey. Puppets.
“Rubber stamp” this “rubber stamp” that– obey party leadership, ignore the people.
Its all coming to an end folks.
And it starts right here in BEAUTIFUL Orange County.
Living in Orange County you’re always in the shadow of the Troutman Amin, LLP lion– but perhaps even more so in the shadow of Disney.
This is the house of the mouse.
I think about Walt from time to time. Never knew him, obviously, but I feel a certain connection to him because above anything else he was a dreamer as much as a doer.
When he built “Disneyland” in the middle of a bunch of Orange Groves what a bizarre thing that must have been.
Can you imagine this?
It would be like me going out to the Tejon Ranch and building “Troutmanland” with exhibits dedicated to free speech and constitutional issues. Crazy right?
Actually it’s even wilder than that. Because that’s been done.
When Walt did it this was something that had never been done before. A concept that seemed so foreign and strange as to border on insane.
“Crazy Walt building his crazy park.”
But it was absolutely brilliant. So much to the point that now it seems almost obvious. Now we think of Disneyland and assume it obviously works but at the time it seemed obvious it would NOT work.
Nobody thought building Disneyland was a good idea. He couldn’t get financing for it. He had to sell his house and cash out insurance products to get it done because who would invest in such a crazy scheme?
But Walt understood his crazy dream was actually an obvious next step in storytelling. Immerse people in the world of his creation– give them a physical TASTE of the magic that was otherwise only available on screen.
And when you think about it all he was trying to do was bring to life the stories he told in animations into a live physical format. He added a few themes– creating the first modern “theme” park in doing so– and he had done something so simple and marvelous it has become a part of American DNA.
Create an immersive environment around the magic of your own creation. He was the first to do it, and that’s a hell of an invention!
Again, this seems to OBVIOUS now but at the time it was utterly unimaginable.
Until he did it.
Deep respect for the man.
Walt would have been 124 years old today. So Happy Birthday Mr. Disney! I look forward to serving the people here in your backyard well and helping to keep a sense of that spirit of magic you created alive for generations to come.
Thank you for PROVING that crazy dreams can literally change the world– and change even what people think is crazy. Because of guys like YOU America Deserves to Win!
Should note: by providing this tribute to Walt I am NOT suggesting Disney or any of its affiliates or entities or any member of the Disney family is backing my run. I mean they probably would IMO because I’m awesome but I haven’t talked to anyone over there about it so please don’t consider this some sort of endorsement. It is not.
